M_o_R Re-registration courses

New to Core IS in 2010 will be the introduction of MSP & M_o_R Re registration courses. The courses will be 2 day refresher training followed by the relevent exam on the third day.

All M_o_R® Practitioners should be re-registered within 3-5 years of their original certification.

All Practitioners certified have the opportunity to take the Re-registration examination in order to demonstrate their commitment to professional development. This is particularly important following the recent update to the M_o_R Guide.

By taking the Re-registration examinations, candidates are able to demonstrate to employers and prospective employers the recency of their knowledge and commitment to Continuing Professional Development.

The format of the Practitioner Re-registration exam is:
Objective-testing format
80 minutes including reading time
Open book – candidates may make use of the Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners (the Management of Risk 'guide') published by TSO, together with the APMG guidance document ABC Consulting Ltd. Sample Risk Documents and Worked Examples of some of the Common Techniques. No other material other than the Question Booklet, the Scenario Booklet and the Answer Booklet can be used
Contains 4 questions (each worth 20 marks)
A total score of 40 out of 80 is required to pass.

Some information is taken from the APMG website.
